  The church has a very Spartan and open feeling about it. It is a historic building but very contemporary people.

  Just moved to the area and took my 3 early teen sons to Christmas Eve mass (4 pm). I have been to other masses that were more bereft of any joy, but unfortunately those were all funerals. Even my boys looked to me afterwards (as I tried to put a smile on my face and the best spin on it) and said that it really made them sad to be there, and "kinda ruined the mood for Christmas".
